Deborah Yao is the editor-in-chief of The AI Innovator. As the former editor in charge of AI Business, she grew traffic by 500% and podcast listens by 1,000% during her tenure. She is a fan of all things AI; this website is her labor of love. A Stanford grad, she has worked at Amazon, the Wharton School and the Associated Press. She lives in Austin, Texas.


Aneeka Cheema is the chief knowledge officer of The AI Innovator. She is a Boston-based art educator with international experience in design, arts and education. Her work examines epistemological influences and gaps in art education, with research spanning indigenous textile crafts and sustainable practices. She specializes in K-12 and higher education teacher training and led a generative AI project preserving linguistic and cultural nuances. Her current focus is global politics, post-colonialism, and contemporary academic movements shaping the future of arts education. Aneeka is working towards a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.


Mukul Pandya is the senior advisor to The AI Innovator. He is a former associate fellow at Oxford University’s Said Business School and board member of Stroke Onward. Previously, he was a senior fellow, AI for Business, at Wharton Customer Analytics. He founded Knowledge@Wharton, the management journal of the Wharton School, and built it from the ground up to serve 3.5 million business executive readers globally. He lives in Princeton, N.J.


Melissa Winblood is the contributing editor of legal AI and technology at The AI Innovator. She is an attorney with 34 years of legal experience and founder and CEO of Counsel and Code, LLC, which provides practical AI implementation guidance to attorneys and law firms. A recent graduate of the University of Texas McCombs School of Business’s intensive AI and Machine Learning program, she learned to code, build LLMs and deploy models. With this rare combination of deep legal expertise and hands-on technical skills, she translates complex AI capabilities into practical applications that help legal professionals work more efficiently and stay ahead of the curve. She lives in Fort Worth, Tex.


Byron Kurt Unso is the social media manager of The AI Innovator. A dedicated gamer who built his own computer, Byron’s professional life includes managing social media and public relations for a politician in the Philippines. He is a man of many talents: an excellent photojournalist, car aficionado and an up-and-coming pilot who is getting his commercial license. He lives in Manila, Philippines.


Divine-Favour Ukoh is a contributing writer for The AI Innovator. He is an SEO Specialist with experience in writing articles about AI and corporate finance.
He is also an editor at ALL Africa, a legal startup based in Nigeria, and serves as the SEO specialist and growth consultant at Lawverse, a digital legal magazine covering legal careers and legal education across Africa. Divine is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree with a major in corporate law at the University of Uyo, with an expected graduation date of December 2026.
