Editorial Team


Deborah Yao is the editor-in-chief of The AI Innovator. She co-authored the book, ‘Creativity in the Age of AI,” along with Wharton professor Jerry Wind and Oxford fellow Mukul Pandya. She is a fan of all things AI; this website is her labor of love. A Stanford grad, she has worked at Amazon, the Wharton School and the Associated Press. She lives in Austin, Texas.


Aneeka Cheema is the chief knowledge officer of The AI Innovator. She is a Boston-based art educator with international experience in design, arts and education. Her work examines epistemological influences and gaps in art education, with research spanning indigenous textile crafts and sustainable practices. She specializes in K-12 and higher education teacher training and led a generative AI project preserving linguistic and cultural nuances. She is working towards a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.


Mukul Pandya is the senior advisor to The AI Innovator. He is a former associate fellow at Oxford University’s Said Business School and board member of Stroke Onward. Previously, he was a senior fellow, AI for Business, at Wharton Customer Analytics. He founded Knowledge@Wharton, the management journal of the Wharton School, and built it from the ground up to serve 3.5 million business executive readers globally. He lives in Princeton, N.J.


Sandeep Mahajan leads enterprise AI and data science initiatives at one of the world’s largest retailers. As a columnist and AI tool reviewer for The AI Innovator, he shares his expertise based on 15 years of experience driving digital and AI transformation across global retail brands. Sandeep also mentors startups through accelerators such as Alchemist Accelerator, Forum Ventures, Gener8tor and other global innovation networks, helping founders design scalable, data-driven retail and AI solutions.


Srinath Chandramohan is EY’s insurtech consulting leader and a columnist for The AI Innovator. With over 17 years of experience at the intersection of insurance technology and enterprise transformation, Srinath is a visionary leader specializing in Property and Casualty platform modernization. He leads large-scale digital transformations for top-tier insurance carriers, architecting solutions that bridge legacy systems with next-gen technologies. Srinath is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council.


Arjun Wadwalkar is a technical product and engineering leader at Global Payments Inc., with over 10 years of experience in payments, cloud POS, and intelligent restaurant and retail systems. He leads product initiatives across AI-enabled POS hardware, payments, and digital signage for restaurants and retail. He is the joint holder of two U.S. patents for innovations in ordering and automated drive-thru systems that use voice AI. His work helped scale payment and POS platforms from $17 million to over $10 billion in transaction volume. He writes a column for The AI Innovator.


Melissa Winblood is a contributing editor at The AI Innovator. An attorney with 34 years of experience, she is the founder and CEO of Counsel and Code, LLC, which provides practical AI implementation guidance to law firms. A recent graduate of the University of Texas McCombs School of Business’s intensive AI and Machine Learning program, she learned to code, build LLMs and deploy models. She translates complex AI capabilities into practical applications that help legal professionals work more efficiently and stay ahead of the curve. She lives in Fort Worth, Tex.


Divine-Favour Ukoh is a contributing writer for The AI Innovator. He is an SEO Specialist with experience in writing articles about AI and corporate finance.
He is also an editor at ALL Africa, a legal startup based in Nigeria, and serves as the SEO specialist and growth consultant at Lawverse, a digital legal magazine covering legal careers and legal education across Africa. Divine is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree with a major in corporate law at the University of Uyo, with an expected graduation date of December 2026.
