Nvidia Partners with LG on Humanoid Robots

Nvidia is expanding its push into physical AI through a new partnership with LG focused on humanoid robots and next-generation AI data centers, according to Reuters.

Speaking in South Korea, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the companies are collaborating on robotics technologies and AI data centers, underscoring ambitions beyond its dominant position in AI chips.

The effort is part of a broader industry shift toward “physical AI,” where artificial intelligence systems interact with and operate in the physical world through robots, sensors and autonomous machines.

While many enterprises have focused on generative AI for knowledge work, technology vendors increasingly view robotics as the next major growth opportunity. Humanoid robots could eventually be deployed in manufacturing, logistics, health care and other labor-intensive industries.

The partnership also highlights growing competition among technology companies seeking to establish leadership positions in the emerging robotics ecosystem, which many analysts believe could become one of AI’s largest long-term markets.
